The healing properties of massage have ancient roots: the Greeks, Orientals, Romans, Mayans and Native Americans have all practiced some form of “touch therapy”. Our daily lives are no more stressful then these ancient cultures and yet a high percentage of doctor visits today are for stress related complaints. Headaches, neck and shoulder pain, backaches, anxiety, depression, high blood pressure, physical and/or mental exhaustion all can be linked to stress.
With more of our time spent in cubicles or alone in front of a computer monitor, I believe the isolation in which we live further complicate these stress symptoms. We need nurturing touch.
Experience healing, restore your body balance, and relax under the power of first touch.
